Civil Litigation

CIVIL LITIGATION

At Dollard & Whalin, we practice in a number of areas of law, including Civil Litigation. Civil Litigation encompasses a number of areas, including Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Collections, Business Litigation, Employment Law, Real Estate litigation, and even small claims actions.

Please contact Dollard & Whalin at (317) 854-5877 to set up a consultation to discuss your civil case with one of our civil litigation attorneys.

Civil litigation cases we handle:

  • Many individuals think they cannot have an attorney for small claims. While the rules surrounding small claims are much more relaxed, you are permitted to have an attorney represent you in your small claims case.
  • Were you injured while working? The law may allow for recovery of claims under the worker’s compensation act. Please contact us to discuss whether you have a worker’s compensation claim.

  • Employment law brings many issues, from employment contracts, to discrimination claims, to wage disputes, our attorneys are here to assist you in your employment law matters.

  • Medical malpractice unfortunately is common. Were you injured due to the negligence of your doctor? If so, please contact us for an initial consultation to discuss your case.

  • Almost every business will encounter a legal issue of some kind during its existence. This can include because of breach of contract, employment law, or dissolution of the business.

Our attorneys are able to assist you with your business litigation case. Being entrepreneurs and business owners ourselves, we understand the importance of your business to you. You may also be a defendant in a small claims action. In Indiana, if you are a business and the claim is over $1,500.00, your business must have an attorney represent it, or be subject to default judgment (if Defendant, or being sued) or dismissal (if Plaintiff).

To discuss your business litigation case, contact Dollard Evans & Whalin at (317) 854-5877 to set up a consultation.

  • Federal law gives various rights to individuals under the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practice Act) and FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act). If you believe your rights have been violated under the FDCPA or the FCRA, contact our attorneys to discuss your case

  • Do you have outstanding accounts receivables that you would like assistance trying to collect? At Dollard Whalin & Evans, we represent clients who have been unable to collect various accounts, through efforts of their own. We can also file proof of claims, in the event a bankruptcy has been filed on the account. To discuss your collections case, contact one of our collections attorneys at (317) 854-5877 to set up a consultation to discuss your case.
